The IV Latin American and Caribbean Biennial on Early Childhood, Children and Youth will run from August 2 to 6, 2021. This year the event will be held online, and is expected to have an impact on improving the realities of children and young people in Latin America and the Caribbean. The event will bring together academia, public management, and social commitment and activism. In this year’ s conference, the epistemic axes will be inequalities, displacements, and diversities.
CAPAZ Academic Director and Professor of Peace Studies at the Justus Liebig University Giessen, Prof. Dr. Stefan Peters, will join one of the panels of the biennial’s agenda on Thursday, 5 August 2021, at 3:00 p.m. to discuss the topic of peace education. The panel is entitled: “Democracy and peace: the perspective of children and young victims of the Colombian armed conflict”.
Besides the academic agenda, the event will also include a publications fair, and a film fair along with other cultural activities to enhance the programme.
