The book: “Entre cerros y montañas. Memorias de resistencias en Quinchía, Colombia”(Amidst hills and mountains. Memories of resistance in Quinchía, Colombia) is the result of a CAPAZ-supported research project called: “Persisting community links and memory and peacebuilding. The case of Quinchía, in the Department of Risaralda”. The project was selected in the call organised by CAPAZ in 2018.
The project was coordinated by Professor Alberto Antonio Berón Ospina, from the Universidad Tecnológica de Pereira, and enjoyed the support of Universidad Pontificia Javeriana de Bogotá, through Professor Jefferson Jaramillo Marín, and Katholische Universität Eichstätt-Ingolstadt, through Professor Thomas Otto Fischer.

“Entre cerros y montañas” brings together the stories of women and men from this municipality in the Department of Risaralda, a culturally diverse territory, marked at certain times in its history by armed, political, and social conflict, but also by resistance and community struggles. The publication will be launched on August 27, 2020 in Colombia.
